It’s a strange weather lately. One second the sun is shining, the other it’s snowing and the streets turn white.
Usually we arrange a date for Kensho and Joy so they can play together. Today was an unexpected surprise to meet Kensho’s best female friend. He’s not very monogamous but this Husky is his number one Lady friend.
Today it was like the sun was giving them energy since they both were indefatigable.

Seeing an Akita and a Nordic dog together are particularly heartening to me, as I am currently the owner of an Alaskan Malamute, putting strong consideration into getting an Akita in a year or twos time, when he’s completely free of adolescent stroppiness (Lord knows I wouldn’t be wanting two big dominant dogs going through their hormonal stages at the same time, haha!).
Incidentally, he too has a favorite girl – a beautiful black Pyrenean who lives up the road from us
Thanks Alanna, I have some great pictures of an Akita together with an Alaskan Malamute. Both males.. both ‘full’ males. They used to run and play together with my Akita, Kensho, was younger.
It has been a while since they have seen each other and the last time we met they were completely ignoring each other. Kensho is now an adult Akita and the Malamute would not allow Kensho to approach.
